About Me

My photo
My name is Justin Ussery, I am a 26 years old Marine Corps Veteran current;y working for Samsung Austin Semiconductor. I have been married for 2 years with no kids. I was born and raised in Southern California. My background as far as work experience is all dealing with electronics, while serving I was a radar technician now as a civilian I work with ion implanters. My political ideology is a post modern, political influences would be Ron Paul, Alex Jones (slightly) and Allen Russo. I have never voted in a presidential election because I have not seen a presidential candidate worth voting for thus far. I am taking this class because it is on the engineering degree plan, but I hope to expand my knowledge on the United States Government to better evaluate government policies and actions. On the civics quiz I only got 4 answers correct but on the current events quiz I got 8 answers correct.

Arm the Rebels?

Read more here.
Once again the United States has contemplated arming rebels who are the opposition of a country's standing regime. This time, in Syria, the United States government decided against arming the opposition to President Bashar al-Assad's regime. There is strong opposition and support of President Barack Obama's decision not to provide lethal aid in the country. This decision is the complete opposite from Libya, where United States and NATO decided to provide lethal aid to bring down Muammar Gaddafi's regime. What most of the American public do not know, and the irony of both situations is that most of the rebels are Al-Queda affiliated.
